Derik welcomes Mia and Lily to celebrate Deepavali with his family, where they help create a colourful kolam, enjoy festive foods, observe family traditions, and admire the glowing lamps. When part of their kolam is damaged by the wind, the friends work together creatively to repair it and make the design even more beautiful. A joyful story that introduces Deepavali traditions while celebrating hope, respect, creativity, hospitality, and the importance of appreciating how different families may celebrate in their own ways.
