Pip Squirrel, Gigi Goat, and Felix Fox discover that their usual bridge to Pinecone Meadow has been closed after heavy rain. Although taking the unsafe shortcut would get them to their picnic faster, Pip stands firm and encourages his friends to follow the longer, safer path instead. A valuable story that teaches safety awareness, responsible decision-making, resisting peer pressure, and how true bravery sometimes means refusing to take an unnecessary risk.
